DALLAS WORKSHOP #2

TRUST YOUR GUT (AND GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD)

Saturday, April 11th

12:00 PST (about 2 hours)

This audition workshop is designed to help actors deal with the greatest hurdle to a great audition: fear.  Great actors second guess themselves, inexperienced actors let their nerves take over and the audition suffers as a result of overthinking and self-censoring.   This workshop is for actors who struggle in auditions to learn to trust their gut.

The actors will choose a monologue prior to class, but NOT prepare it.  You will be coached through making three strong “gut” choices, then you will mute yourselves and work on your monologue for about 10 minutes, then perform it, using the fast “from the gut” choices you made.. He guides the actors through making fast, from-the-gut, risk-taking choices.  Each actor will receive a FREE digital copy of Del's published monologue book. The actor can choose to do one of Del's monologues, or one from another source/script.

COST:  $30

LOCATION:  Zoom. Details will be sent out the day of.
